Artist Support
Comedy doesn't get the infrastructure that dance, music, film, theater, and visual arts have built over decades - until now. Local Laughs Collective aims to fills that gap. We support stand-up comics, improvisers, hosts, and more through financial assistance for emergencies, healthcare, marketing, and travel. No gatekeeping, no exploitation. Just the tools Boise's comedic artists need to grow.
This is the space to tell people what it's like to work with the business. Describe the team's culture and why people enjoy being a part of it.
Community Engagement
We're here to enrich Boise, not just entertain it. That means workshops for new performers, comedy camps for kids, open mics for anyone brave enough to grab the mic, and benefit shows that give back to causes across the city. Comedy belongs to the whole community, and we're building the events to prove it.
In the coming years LLC and it's members will be working hard to give back to our community.
Misfits' Comedy Club
Misfits' is the flagship project of Local Laughs Collective: a community-run comedy club, owned by the people who fill its seats and stand on its stage. Not a charity case. A venue built by Boise's comedy scene, for Boise's comedy scene. This is where the mission becomes a place.
